Transform Your Walls Into Something Beautiful Using Tape and a Hexagon Template

Transform Your Walls Into Something Beautiful Using Tape and a Hexagon Template
Recently I featured a couple of different wall art projects on the site which blew my mind. This one I loved because it is so easy—it doesn't require any sort of precision or the ability to paint a perfectly straight line. This one on the other hand I adore because it requires all kinds of meticulousness—but there is a clever cheat using strips of tape which makes it a little easier.

Now I have discovered a new wall art project which I think combines the best of both worlds:

This project is cool because it makes use of tape in order to get the straight lines, and in order to make sure they are placed properly, you use a hexagon template. So even though some meticulousness is required in order to get it right, it is a lot simpler than the tape-based project that I shared previously.

The finished result is really awesome. It looks like a kind of pastel honeycomb. I have always been a big fan of anything that reminds me of honeycombs and beehives in architecture and interior design, so to me this is really cool. The colors she picked work beautifully off of one another too. This particular project was done for a child's playroom, but I think it would look awesome in any room of the house. Kudos to this clever mom for coming up with a beautiful wall art project which anyone can do using some tape and a simple template!
