Edible Mud Mask
This mask is not really made of mud, but it works just like a real mud bath that you'd pay plenty for at the spa. It contains Greek yogurt which will smooth your skin, cocoa which is filled with antioxidants and honey that will work as an anti-aging and moisturizing property. It also has lemon juice for exfoliation, banana and buttermilk to tighten and soften skin. Just mix the ingredients together and apply to your face. Once the mask dries, just rinse it away with clear water and your skin will be softer and more subtle. Plus, you can eat the leftovers if you want.

DIY Pore Strips
Pore strips are an absolute must for summery beautiful skin. If you tend to have blackheads, these are great for stripping those oils and dirt away and leaving your face looking much more clear and lovely. The best part about these strips? They are made with just 2 ingredients and 2 really cheap ingredients at that. You need a tablespoon of unflavored gelatin and milk. You can use any type of milk that you want, as long as it's milk. That's it. You just combine these two ingredients, apply to your face and let dry. Once it's dry you can peel it off (think glue on your hands when you were younger) and the blackheads and pore cloggers will come with it.

Coconut and Vitamin E Moisturizing Lotion
A good moisturizing lotion is essential, particularly during the summer when your skin can easily lose hydration. This one only has two ingredients, can be whipped up in just a couple of minutes and smells heavenly. Note that if you really aren't a fan of the smell of coconut, you can add essential oils to give it whatever scent you want. You just whip the Vitamin E oil and coconut oils into a lotion and store in a clean, empty lotion bottle. Swimming Pool Hair Remedy
There is nothing better than taking a dip in a cool pool on a hot summer day. The chemicals in that pool however, can wreak havoc on your hair. This recipe helps to keep chlorine and other chemicals from causing damage and it will keep blonde hair (treated hair especially) from turning green after that refreshing dip. You need baking soda, lemon juice and a mild shampoo. Baby shampoo is perfect. You just mix the ingredients together and then shampoo as usual. Cover with a plastic shower cap or bag and leave on for at least half an hour. Then just rinse away and shampoo as you normally would.

Epsom Salt Body Scrub
You can actually create this recipe for your feet or as an overall body scrub and it works wonders on rough, dry skin. It's got Epsom salts, eucalyptus and sesame oils and coffee which is great for toning your body and helping to remove cellulite. This is a great body scrub to use before self-tanning lotions if you tend to prefer a self-tan. It will remove dead skin so that your tan goes on much more evenly and smooth. Just mix it all together and scrub that dead skin away. Then wash as usual and add your normal moisturizer for glowingly beautiful skin.
