Have you been invited to a baby shower recently? If so, you are probably looking forward to the event with excitement … but you may be a little bit worried about what to bring. You need to give the baby a gift, but what can you buy or make that will stand out?
We do have some adorable DIY projects on the site, like this crocheted baby converse pattern. But if you do not have the time or the skills, you probably want something simpler, like this idea for wrapping up onesies so that they look like cupcakes.
In fact, if you like the cupcake idea, but want to create something different, you can try this project to make a beautiful bouquet of baby clothes! Here are two pretty easy tutorials you can follow to create these unique baby shower gifts!
For this project, you need to buy some baby bibs and/or other baby clothes. In the tutorial, amejane1406 on YouTube shows you how you can roll each item up to create a "flower" for the bouquet. While the finished bouquet looks quite elaborate, you will see in the tutorial that creating each flower really is not that complicated or time-consuming. amejane1406 went with a blue theme, using enough colors to produce contrast and make each "flower" stand out, but sticking with just blues and neutral tones for a pleasing, elegant effect.
A project like this is a wonderful idea for giving an expecting mom basic baby supplies she needs, but presenting them in such a way that everyone at the baby shower will "ooh" and "aah." Enjoy the tutorial, and have fun making your first baby clothes bouquet! Videos by Amejane1406 and UmmeYusuf.
