I enjoy organizing projects—not just their results, but actually doing them. I think it is so cool to watch as a cluttered space transforms into a clean, organized one. To that end, I have done a lot of organizing throughout my house, especially in my bathrooms (using these bathroom organizing tips) and my kitchen (using these kitchen organizing tips). But the countertops have always given me grief. It feels like no matter what I do, I am always left with some amount of clutter. And it builds right back up.
But I just found a great video on YouTube by WhatsUpMoms with 5 awesome tips to curb countertop clutter for once and for all!
This video will not only help you to organize your countertops and get some actual free space, but will also help you to organize the contents of your drawers. My favorite tip is the very last one, where she explains that there is always going to be some stuff on your countertops, and the key to making it look organized is to make sure that it all looks pretty—so that means buying nice dispensers for soap and tissue and so on.
When you do that, you actually end up with a really beautiful result, which keeps you motivated to maintain your organized counter space. If you just keep up with it, it won't get out of control again.
Okay, I'm off now to the store to buy some new stuff to help me beautify my bathroom countertops—enjoy the video, and good luck getting your own counters organized!
