I quite enjoy having hard boiled eggs for breakfast, and I also love devilled eggs, so I tend to boil and peel quite a lot of eggs in my life. Now, as much as I love the health benefits and great taste of the eggs, I absolutely despise peeling them because it's always so damn inconsistent! Sometimes I can peel off large pieces of the shell at a time, so it all goes quickly and smoothly, but then there are those painful times when the shell breaks off in tiny little shards that you have no choice but to peel off one-by-one. Honestly, I'm surprised I haven't been driven crazy yet.

I didn't simply stumble upon this clever peeling hack, I actively went searching for easier ways to peel eggs to save myself from the tiny egg shell shards of doom. When I finally found this video, I had one of those embarrassing 'how the hell did I never think of this?' moments. Nonetheless, I am so very grateful for this easy trick!
All you have to do is cut your boiled egg in half – shell and all. Then, take your spoon, and simply scoop out the egg. It's actually ridiculous how easy it is! This is exctly how I usually peel my avocados (here's another helpful avo-peeling trick), so it annoys me that I never thought to apply the same technique to my breakfast.
Looking for a new way to enjoy your eggs in the morning? Ever heard of scramboiled eggs? No? Prepare to be blown away!
