Pull-Apart Pizza Bread: It’s Easy, it’s Quick, and more Importantly, it Tastes like Heaven!

Pull-Apart Pizza Bread: It's Easy, it's Quick, and more Importantly, it Tastes like Heaven!
Pull-Apart Pizza Bread. If those few, short words don't make you drool at least figuratively, then you may just not be human. Everyone loves a good pizza (you can even make your own wood-fired cob oven for the perfect pizza), but sometimes it's fun to give the classic a bit of a makeover.

What's really great about this recipe is that although it looks rather professional and as if it took you forever to make from scratch, the clever shortcuts actually make the prep time really short. Because who has time to wait, right?

You will need:

  • 12oz tube refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 slices pepperoni, quartered
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup shredded pizza blend cheese
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • Tomato pizza sauce
  • 2 bowls
  • Bunt pan

If you love this savory pull-apart bread idea then you can make a sweet version too – braided Nutella bread will absolutely change your life!

Step 1. Cut up each biscuit into quarters into a bowl – keep in mind that these will be the parts that you actually pull away, so you don't want them to be too big. Sprinkle with oil and stir it around a bit so that all the pieces get coated; set aside.

Step 2. In your second bowl, combine all the other ingredients apart from the tomato sauce. You can customize this as much as you want, since you're the one making it, after all. You can add in some ham, bacon, olives, mushrooms or whatever your taste buds desire. This applies to the cheese, too, you can make a simple mix of mozzarella and cheddar if that's what you have in the fridge.

Step 3. Stir the ingredients together, pour in your dough and then stir again.

Step 4. Spray the bunt pan with cooking spray and pour the tasty mess in there; try to distribute it as evenly as you can.

Step 5. Stick it in the oven for about 15 minutes at 400°F (205°C). Once cooked, tip the bread out onto a serving plate while it's still warm, pour out a bit of the pizza sauce into a small bowl for dipping, and then enjoy!
