Ninja balls, stress balls, juggling balls, squishy balls… whatever it is that you call these fun flour-filled balloon balls, it's about time you learn how to make your own so that you don't have to keep spending money unnecessarily. You can use them as your very own stress balls (we all have those days!) or make them for your kids, or even make a few as gifts or party favors – it'll literally only cost you a few cents each. Maybe even toss in some homemade slime while you're at it!
Video Tutorial:
You will need:
- Balloons
- Flour, ¾ cup per ball
- Water bottle cut in half, or a funnel
- Juice bottle with wide mouthpiece
- Super glue (optional)
I've always wondered how they get the flour in the balloon in the first place, and now that I've seen the method it seems so obvious. Although I'm certain I'd never have been able to figure that out on my own. If you're planning on squishing the hell out of these stress balls or foresee a short lifespan due to destructive little boys, make them extra durable with the help of a little super glue. Also keep in mind that the more balloon layers, the stronger the ball – no less than three per ball.
From there on it's up to you decorate: choose your favorite colors, make a matching set of Ninja Turtles or any other superhero colors, keep it simple with just one color… have fun with it. You may just become the next great juggler, or at the very least, a little less stressed.
If you're up to your ears in ninja balls and have some balloons left over, you can use them to impress your family by making delicious and visually stunning chocolate bowls.
