Don't you just love the convenience of those ready to use kitchen wipes? Of course, the cost is not so enjoyable. If you tend to use kitchen wipes to clean up spills and keep your counter tops sparkling, you can actually make your own and save a bit of money. Plus, when you make your own products you know what is going in to them so it is a bit greener to DIY your kitchen wipes.
You will need several squares of a soft cotton cloth. Cut these in whatever size you feel will best serve your needs. You can use old t-shirts or just anything that is made from soft cotton.
Next, fill a container with 1 cup of water, about 8 drops of your favorite essential oil – you get to choose your scent – and an ounce of liquid castile soap.
Just keep the squares in the jar and remember to replace the cap whenever you pull one out so that the others won't dry out.
