A cobra switch is not as difficult to create as it sounds and this side ponytail is a great summer look. You begin by simply sweeping your hair to one side – whichever side you prefer. Separate into two layers, one on top and one on bottom. Now, tie the top layer up with a ponytail.
The switch is actually made by tying the hair strands together and again, this is not nearly as difficult as it sounds. You just have to split the bottom layer into two even strands and loop them over the top, tying one strand through. You can do this as many times as you want, essentially creating knots as you go. Once you reach the end of the cobra switch, just put a ponytail around the short strand and hide it in the knots.
This is a beautiful look that is perfect for longer hair. Not only does it help you to keep your hair out of the way, it does so in style.
